Fun & Spooky Halloween Projects the Kids Will Love

Dry ice bubbles are a fun, fairly simple, science experiment that can be done right at home! Kids and parents alike will enjoy this mind boggling project.

3. Spooky Spider Webs

Draw spider webs on white paper using light colored crayons or pastels, and have kids paint over them with dark water color paints. The effect is spooky and the paintings will make fun Halloween decorations!

4. Bat Slime

This batty slime only requires a few ingredients that you might already have at home. Kids will love the goop and you'll love how easy it is to make! 

5. Perfect Pumpkins

Who knew that halved apples are shaped just like perfect pumpkins? Simply dip your apple half in orange paint and you've got yourself a jack-o-lantern that's ready to be decorated! 

6. Fizzy Jack-O-Lanterns

This one can get messy, but it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. Baking soda and vinegar will create this fun effect. Add dish soap for an even more dramatic explosion!

October is Subaru Loves Pets Month at Serra of Traverse City

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., – October is Subaru Loves Pets Month at Serra of Traverse City! Throughout the month of October, Serra will be partnering with H.A.N.D.D.S. to The Rescue, a local non-profit that helps provide foster homes and medical care to mistreated animals.

You can help us make a difference by attending our Adopt-A-Thon on Saturday, October 22nd from 10am-3pm. We will be hosting a variety of local, adoptable, dogs in our Subaru Showroom. If you're looking for a new pup, this is the perfect time to offer a Furever Home to a dog in need!

If you're not interested in adopting a new pet, but you'd still like to help, you can donate a number of items that will benefit the care of dogs being fostered through H.A.N.D.D.S. to The Rescue.
