Audi A8 Debuts in the New Spiderman Movie

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., – This July, everyone's favorite superhero will get a new traveling companion with some superpowers of its own. The Audi A8 debuts in the new Spiderman movie this summer, giving viewers a firsthand look at some of its flashy features and benefits. The A8 won't be the only vehicle featured in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tony Stark, better known as Iron Man, will be sporting the iconic Audi R8 V10 Spyder - a vehicle renowned for its unparalleled style and one-of-a-kind features.

Audi showcases some of the A8's newest features in a short digital film entitled "Driver's Test". In it, Peter Parker takes his driver's test using the A8 and some of its exclusive features. At one point, Peter removes his hands from the steering wheel and shows the driving instructor that the A8, under certain conditions, can temporarily take over driving when the Audi AI Traffic Jam feature is activated. This futuristic feature will be coming to other Audi vehicles soon, but fans of the Spiderman series got a firsthand glimpse of it during this short. When Spiderman notices a bank robbery, he quickly eliminates the problem while the driving instructor grades him without taking his eyes off of his clipboard.
