National Ice Cream Sundae Day

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., – Today is National Ice Cream Sundae Day and with all of this hot July weather we’ve been having, we think now is the perfect time to talk about the perfect ice cream sundae. Ice cream is something we take very seriously; so let’s discuss some options. You could always buy an ice cream sundae, or you could get some of your favorite toppings and make your own! Either way, what better way to cool down than a sweet treat?

What better place to celebrate National Ice Cream Sundae Day than at the greatest ice cream shop around? Moomers has a wide selection of flavors and toppings to create your own sundae. They also offer specialty sundaes like the dirt sundae, which comes with Oreos, whipped cream, a gummy worm, and a cherry!

Sundae bars are always a hit with the kids, but who says adults can’t enjoy some ice cream too? If you want to make your own sundae, check your cupboards for any toppings you may have laying around. If you’re not satisfied, head to the store and grab some of your favorites. We suggest chocolate syrup, raspberry syrup, cherries, crushed graham crackers, your favorite cereal, whipped cream, and crushed candy bars. Vanilla is a good classic flavor, but mix things up and get a flavor you wouldn’t normally try! Let us know how it goes!
