Which Brands Made the WardsAuto 10 Best Interiors List?

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.––While we all care most about how a car gets us from A to B, looks and features play a big part in our satisfaction with our vehicles. The brands that made the list include Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Honda, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, and Volvo. Most of the vehicles which made the list are considered to be luxury or at least lean towards the luxury side. Each brand had a specific car that made the list for various reasons including:

Nissan Maxima - $38,750

There were 47 originally entered for evaluation, 19 of which come from premium brands. Each entry vehicle must have had an all-new or significantly updated or redesigned interior to be eligible and be considered affordable. Testers also made sure to play with the human-machine interface to check for user-friendliness and to see how the vehicle's information is communicated.

“It’s important that the Wards 10 Best Interiors list include mainstream, affordable vehicles,” says Drew Winter, director-content at WardsAuto. “But the average price of a new vehicle in the U.S. has risen past $33,000, which is forcing us to reconsider how we define mainstream, affordable vehicles.”
