The Iceman Cometh Challenge, a 30 mile bike race from Kalkaska to Traverse City, originated in 1990 with 35 competitors. This year, Subaru is a proud sponsor of the Iceman Cometh Challenge, which will kick off at 9:00 am in Kalkaska, MI on Saturday, November 5th. The race is will conclude in Traverse City later in the day.

Although this year's forecast is expected to be very mild for northern Michigan in the fall, the Iceman Cometh and its competitors are no strangers when it comes to intense weather! In past years, bikers have ridden through sleet, rain, mud, ice, and up to 4 inches of snow!

In addition to the professional Iceman course, there are two other shorter course options for beginners. The Meijer Slush Cup is an 8 mile course for less experienced riders and the Meijer Sno-Cone is a ride for children 10 and under.

In honor of this year's Iceman Cometh Challenge, Serra Subaru of Traverse City is offering 15% off of all Subaru Accessories. During the month of November, you can get your coupon at SerraTraverseCity.com!
